Ostehøvel

Thor Bjørklund (1889–1975) from Lillehammer invented the cheese slicer in 1925. The slicers are still manufactured in Lillehammer. With a rich history spanning 90 years, it has become a classic symbol of Norwegian innovation, quality and design.

Norgeskoppen

Norgesglasset, with the characteristic Norge (Norwegian for Norway) logo, appeared on the market in 1902. A moulded glass jar that provides airtight storage, the original design has kept its iconic shape over the years. These days, it has been expanded to an exciting range of drinking glasses and bottles in all shapes and sizes.

Mariusgenser

The Marius sweater was designed on the back of the 1952 Olympic Winter Games in Oslo and named after well-known skier Marius Eriksen, brother of the even more famous Stein Eriksen. Originally sold by the Sandnes Wool Factory in 1953 as a hand-knit pattern, today it’s considered a Norwegian national sweater.
